Alka-Seltzer is a drug used for relief from heartburn, sour stomach and acid indigestion with headache. Made of the general ingredients, including Aspirin, Sodium bicarbonate and Citric acid, Alka-Seltzer is available mainly in two flavors-Original and Lemon Lime.

In the case of the regular strength tablets, the doses can be recapitulated after four hours. Not more than the maximum of about 8 tablets should be taken in 24 hours. For the extra strong tablets, the person can take repeated doses in about each 6 hours. In this case, the patient should not take more than 7 tablets in the 24 hours.
For the patients who are above the age of 60, they should not take more than four tablets in one day.
